Happy Friday Everyone! I’m back with another month recipe. This recipe is a recipe my aunt taught me in Florida. When I was visiting her. Which she learn this recipe for her older sister. So in a way. I guess you can call it a family recipe.
The best thing about this recipe beside the taste. Is that it is super easy to make. Since you don’t have to defrost the roast before hand. Also with this recipe you can season the meat with any kind of seasoning you like. So therefor you can customize the recipe to your liking.
When I made this I used pumpkin beer. Next time I make it I will use a different kind of beer. We don’t drink a lot of beer. So there for I use whatever is left over from friends when they come and visit.
Instead of pulling the roast apart by hand. Ant told me to put the roast in the kitchen aid mixer on low and it would pull it apart that way. Which it did. I’m so going to pull all my meat apart this way from now on.
You can use whatever kind of enchilada sauce you like. I just love the Frontera sauce. I also you there taco sauce as well. What’s great about this sauce is it not super hot. So therefor everyone in you family can eat it.
This dish make a lot of food. So therefor it great for party’s or just to eat for leftovers. Which is what we did. Overall this is a super yummy and some what healthy dinner to make.
Linking up with A Labour of Life
HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY!
