Hello Everyone! Today I'm here to share with you my favorite baby app. I have been using the Baby Tracker app for almost 6 months now. This app is a free to download. If you want the graph you have to pay 4.99 for it. Which to me it total wroth the money.
The reason we brought this app was in the hospital they want you to track all the feeding and dirty diapers. Which they gave us a piece of paper to do so. We used that paper in the hospital but once we got home. It was just to hard to remember to take the paper and a pen all around the house.
So there for Ant being a techie guy. He went out and find this app for are phones and we have been using it ever since. Not only is this app helpful for us. Baby Girls Pediatrician also loves the fact we use it. She find it so handy to be able to see everything in one place.
With baby trackers it allows you to track all feeding. No matter if its bottles, nursing, pumped milk or solid food. Which is so nice. When it come to the feeding part of the app. I only use the nursing and supplement part of it. Since I don't pump that often. Plus baby girl isn't a fan of bottles.
Once you start a feeding session. You click on the bottle symbol and choose what type of feeding you are going to do. The four options it give you is a lady holding a baby, lady holding baby with a bottle for breast milk. Just a normal bottle and a bowl.
When I go to nursing baby girl I click the lady holding the baby and then you click what side you are going to do. Then a timer starts. Which you can pause the timer. If you need to. Once you are done. You hit the stop button and end the nursing session in the app. Which the app keeps track of how long it has been between feeding. Which right now baby girl eat every 2 and half to 3 hours during the day. At night depending if she going to sleep or not.
Also another feature in the app is diaper changes. Which not only does this feature come in handy. To make sure you are getting enough wet diapers during the day. It also gives you an idea of how many diaper you are going thru a day. Which on a daily base we have a total of 11 diapers changes . Some days more then that.
One of they thing I love about this app is the sleep section. To know how long baby girl is sleeping for. Also to make sure she is getting enough sleep. Which she average 13 hours of sleep in total for the day. She get most and all of her sleep at night. Since she doesn't nap for long during the day. Her naps are normal only for 30 minutes at a time. Some days we get lucky and she will take an hour nap.
Some other things the app can track beside feeding, diapers changes and sleep. Is it can tacker how much you pump and keep an inventory of it. Also if you have to give your baby any kind of medication. You can track that as well. This part came in super handy when baby girl got sick in December.
Not only can it track medication. You can also log your baby temperature, there growth, weight and any happy moments. Which we love. Overall I'm super happy we got this app.
*Side note this isn't a sponsored post. I truly love and like this app and just wanted to share it with you all.*
HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY!
