Happy Friday Everyone! One thing that I want to do this year. Is to share more recipe on my blog. When I started my blog in 2010. I used to share a recipe every month. Which I loved doing. After I had baby girl I wasn’t cooking anything fun and exciting to share.
When my Husband left for a work trip in 2019. I start to share more crockpot recipe on my blog. Since I was using my crockpot all the time. Do it was an easy way. To have dinner done after work with a starving 1 and half year old. Then I don’t know what happen I fall off the band wagon. Of sharing recipe on my blog.
Last year I shared 5 new recipe on my blog. My goal for this year is to make a new recipe every month. That way my family can try to new food and not get bored with what we are cooking and eating. For this year I would like to share 6 recipe. Which breaks down to a recipe every other month. If I can post a recipe every month that will be even better but for now I’m shooting for 6 recipe blog post.
Which bring us to today recipe. For the month of January we have been doing a freezing clean out. Which is how we start every year out. One Sunday we had no idea what we wanted to eat. We decide to pull out some sausage out of the freezer and have them. Instead of having them the normal way on a bun.
I decide to come up this a new way to eat them. We had bell pepper and onion on hand. So there for I cut them up. As you can see from the picture. Baby girl helped with dinner this time. I cut up all the vegetable and baby girl put them in the bowl.
Once all the vegetable were cut up and put in the bowl. We add are seasoning to them and laid them on the sheet pan. Then I layered the sausage on top. I let all of that cook for 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes was done. I cut sausage up and put it back on sheet pan and bake for 20 more minutes. Once that time was done. I plated the food up and we were ready to eat.
We ate are sausage, pepper and onion with fresh baked bread. That we got from the bakery that morning. You can pair this with rice or even pasta. This meal was so easy to make and was a crowd please. Even baby girl like it. Even tho she only at the sausage. She not a fan of peppers or onions.
HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY!
