For me the greatest part of fall involves awesome sweaters and great boots, are ya with me on this one? No seriously isn't it, Ok I hear you scarfs also play a large part, oh right yep Pumpkin and pumpkin spice everything and if you are a Starbucks fan I understand that their Latte's are pretty special this time of year.
Hi peeps, its me Linda, blogging over at A Labour of Life and hijacking Amy's blog while she is at a Football game in London ( seriously how lucky is that girl?)
So while she is at a football game I thought I might show you some non team football attire, how top dress for a football game if you are not necessarily a fan of " the team colours" ( Ok I totally understand that could not even be a possible thing if you are from the good ole US of A, because hello does anyone there not have a team or not sport the colors ( hey see even the American spelling on that one)
OK I hope I have not offended anyone here because truly not intended, I love the spirit of my southerly neighbours when it comes to football, the enthusiasm is infectious and true confession Kent and I have been to many a game and have dressed for the team. ( Did I ever tell you about heading to the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, well Rice was playing Miss State and we knew we needed to cheer for a team so we went based on who had Canadians playing ( true story honest).
But just in case you do not have a fav team I always thought warm sweaters, scarfs and bots made not just the perfect fall outfit but a great football watching outfit ( In September or October though not later, for that those of us in the northern parts of the continent wear parkas and snowsuits)
Found this sweater at Hudsons Bay Company during Bay Days and I had to have it, could you have passed it up? Scarf was a Joe Fresh find last year while I was in Whitehorse as were the boots and funny I just got those gloves this year again at Joe Fresh in Whitehorse because I forgot mine and they were a little necessary.
( and hello how about this awesome HBC Mug....)
Keeping warm tip for you, always wear a really large scarf because when the wind picks up or the temperature drops you can always use the scarf as a blanket around you ( hence Blanket scarf concept right) So Amy hope you are having an awesome vacation and enjoy the game, still so very jealous
and for the rest of you, feel free to hop over and visit, I love meeting new peeps.
